Given a long list of fascinating looking books, this seems as good a place to start as any. The first section on the list of books outlined in The Personal MBA is full of books and audio recordings that the author claims “will make it easy for you to set yourself up for success as you begin your self-education in business”. I am also sure that I will go back and listen to it again in the future when I am in need of some inspiration. I am sure that I will be referring back to Lead the Field and some of the ideas and insights that it generated for me in future posts. " A rut is a grave with the ends kicked out". I think it conjures a very vivid and compelling image. There is one quote from the recording that really stuck in my head. Service - all value comes from serving others.Your brain is your most valuable asset but most people will do anything to avoid using it. The more frequently you use your brain, the better your thinking will become - much like exercising your body. The people who achieve the most success are those who know what they want and go for it. Goals - having a clear direction in life is important.You (and your world) become what you think. If you don't put anything in, you don't get anything out.
